During the period of July-October 2001, the Laboratorio Standard
Latte (LSL) (Milk Standard Laboratory) of the Associazione
Italiana Allevatori (A.I.A.) (Italian Breeders Association)
has carried out 2500 tests to verify the operation of the
FoodLab.
The
functional tests were carried out the tests for the determination
of Urea on cow's milk, sheep's milk and buffalo milk.
The functional tests carried out are:
- Determination of the testing speed
- Check of the temperature of each individual well
- Repeatability tests
- Check of the instrument’s calibration
- Check of the instrument’s linearity
- Recovery and sensitivity tests
- Check of the variation of the lots
- Check for interference of the fat
- Dilution Test
