ADVANTAGES OF THE FOODLAB SYSTEM
- No preliminary treatment of the sample is required
- Use of ready-to-use test tubes with previously dispensed reagents
- Execution of tests in batches
- Calibration with standard known samples
- High sensitivity, precision and repeatability
- Based on spectrophotometric technology, which excludes contact between the instrument and the sample to be analyzed. Thus the system is maintenance free
- Can be interfaced with computer system
- Useable for testing along the production line
The analytical method and the instrument were compared, with positive results, to the official methodologies at laboratories of principal dairy industries.
In particular the test of the Urea has been verified in the Laboratorio Standard Latte (Standard Milk Laboratory), credited SINAL no. 138, of the Associazione Italiana Allevatori (Italian Breeders Association).
